I played this in the final Olgierd Von Everec boss-fight in the painting level of the Hearts of Stone DLC in Witcher 3 and damn it fit like charm.

I really wish I'd played this game sooner an absolute masterpiece, this moment of the game really gave the best vibe for the ending of a game, I really enjoyed myself on the journey this game took me on.

In regards to ds actually, in ds3 midir is implied to be gyra or a incarnation of him from his boss soul description, and it can be transposed into a spell which is said to be the memory of the moonlight greatsword and that the one you get from sseaths tail in ds1 isnt the original, the spell gained from midir is said to be closer to a more ancient moonlight greatsword "from the beginning" alsp gyra seems to be the good dragon what created the moonlight greatsword not sseath, this explains why sseath searches for it in kf2

I love how the characters move in the game, just adds to the hilarity of it all when people are running like old school animations on N64 games while screaming bloody murder when they’re being chased. I don’t have a system to run this on so I end up watching these videos lmao

I just finished this game for the second time yesterday. Its truly a phenomenal masterpiece. Apart from the fact that i was in tears through the end sequence, i noticed something. After fighting for almost 30 minutes in the unwinnable fight, Senuas voice (HER voice, not one of her voices) can be heard saying "Let go of Dillion. Let go of your battle". Its the only time that you hear her voice when she's not speaking i think, and it's an insane experience. I just gave up after that; what else is there to do, other than letting go,

I've thought of so many tragically beautiful battle sequences to this song. Just another reason why Hellblade is my favorite game of all time
